Tristan Lim’s practice presents critical explorations into structures of perception, significance and desire in visual culture. Deeply interested in how the historic and speculative continuously reinvents and assert themselves in present life, his work engages with the porous nature of lived reality, resulting in open-ended narrative structures expressed through drawing, mixed media installations and procedural digital works.

His works has been featured at Ota Fine Arts, The Arts House, and Singapore Art Museum at 8Q. He has participated in the Facebook (Meta) Artist-in-residence (AIR) programme, and presented work in Singapore Night Festival, Singapore Light to Night festival, ART SG, and overseas in Spain, Vietnam and Taiwan.  Most recently, he is a recipient of the inaugural NAC-UAS Arts Scholarship in 2025.

He currently teaches Visual Media in Lasalle College of the Arts, Singapore.
